Default This is How You Get Boys Interested in Riding

And girls too! Amazing 12 year old boy doing mounted archery shooting. Take a look at the jump scene 2 minutes into the video!

Fantastic. Not sure I love the cars driving by just beyond the targets.

That's just what I was thinking. Kiddo rocks , skill , outfit all of it. The cars driving by just on the other side of the targets YIKES. I'm sure they are practice arrows but my luck I'd have my window down and his pony would buck or something !

    Very cool.

Although, when I went to dinner on Friday night, while the HITS show was going on in town, I actually remarked to a non-horsey friend who was with us that the scene around us should encourage more boys to ride. Seriously, the restaurant was FULL of large parties of riding girls - all thin, attractive, and athletic!

I'm more amazed that the boy can shoot so many arrows that quickly and that accurately than that he can do so while riding.

What a great pair they make.

I have five boys and have said this for years!!! BUT, my hubby remarks to the boys "NO, you don't want one of THOSE kind of girls!"

Ahhh yeah - - although he's married to one so he knows firsthand how great we are
