Default Go home, winter, you're drunk.

Seriously. Today is April 20th, and it's snowing like crazy. Again. The snow banks are going to be here for at least another month. It was -9C (16F) when I woke up this morning. The areas that were drifted over with snow all winter are still 2-3 feet deep!

I will stop whining about the flurries we have here. I seriously could not live in a place where winter could do that!!

Wine and a fire would be my solution! I'm so sorry!

Nice view from your kitchen, all I can see is woods from mine.
Last week we took a drive a little southwest, maybe 100k or so, and there was no snow and the grass was starting to turn green. We don't have any more snow, except for the snowbanks in parking lots and such, but everything is still brown and dull.
Editing to add, that on the plus side, allergies are not so bad this year

Minnesota decides when it's spring. We actually already had spring, summer, and fall. Now it's winter again.

It's storming here........again.......and in another hour, I will be stuck in my yard again and have to dig out for the 900th time since October. I am having serious doubts about getting any seeding done, and for that matter, of this whiteshit leaving any time soon - suspect it will not all melt by next winter.

saultgirl, thanks for the post! The title made me laugh out loud over coffee! I'm in northern Canada and have just as bad or worse of a view out of my front window! it's also -9 here and a north wind that makes me want to fly south! Makes me glad to be indoors studying for exams for once.

We must be fairly close.. Ugh, I've had enough!

    Any excuse for irish coffee!

Sympathies, though. Temp dropped thirty degrees in about eight hours here; turned the heat back on this morning. Stay warm!

It was 8°F this morning with more snow on the way tomorrow and Monday.

Y'all will hate me, but I wish I lived in an area that got weather like that! Our snowfall total this year was probably less than 10 inches. I don't love being out in the snow all the time, but I love sitting by the fire with a warm drink and watching it come down, knowing the ponies are tucked in for the night with plenty of hay.

I was outraged just now that a few random tiny snowflakes were falling outside my window. Then I looked at the pictures on this thread. Never mind!

Does anyone have an address for the weather gods? We need to mail them a calendar!

Best thread title ever! Seriously. I am so, so sorry. As far as snow goes, I am NOT a big fan.

lol, the cold-weather alcoholic beverages get old by the end of April, seriously! I am so ready for a cold drink in the hot sun!

My condolences to those who are sharing this crummy weather.

Sounds like we need to arrange some trades on this board - some posters need to trade homes for like a week so the ones missing the snow can spend a week playing around in the white stuff, and the ones craving the sun can come deal with the 'squitos and humidity and things that go along with the hot sunshine and work on their tans. Everyone wins!

Down here in the sunny south, my local forecast has a frost advisory.

    And a pollen alert.
