That was THE funniest thing I've seen in months.

I don't know if anyone but a northerner living in the south would really get how funny that was.

I'd love to post it to my FB page but too many people would get offended.

Absolutely hysterical. Thanks for posting the link!

Agree, Equibrit. I have a fondness for the Stars & Bars. I'm a Texan, you see. Every other highs school in the state was "The Rebels" and everyone knew how to do the Rebel Yell. I've forgotten how, though...

    Why was she barefoot?

Not just barefoot, but barefoot and pregnant. Part of the stereotype.

I thought it was hysterically funny, and wasn't offended at all; Jesus knows if there ever was a deep Southerner, I'm it.

I love humor but this wasn't funny. I have good friends in the South and the barefoot/pregnant routine wasn't necessary. And if this was a fund raiser - we are scraping bottom. I am also adding that I was offended as a Christian. We seem to be the easy target.

I'm amazed that the USET allow this kind of cultural bigotry in the name of fund raising on their behalf.

I thought it was sad that she had to use God and Jesus to make a joke...

We have plenty of lame comedians who have to do that to make a living, dont need it in our dressage sport sigh.

Some of you lack a well developed sense of the ridiculous. I suppose you'd have been offended by HeeHaw back in the day. Something that is so ridiculous that it could not possibly be anywhere near the truth is not offensive.

    Very funny!

(I think that television evangelists have given up the right to indignation when they are imitated).

There is nothing in this satire that is any more of an offense to Christianity, than what T.V. ministers broadcast every day..

    Default Pleeeeeze!

To anyone who was offended by this, you NEED to get a sense of humor! If you lived in the South, you would be laughing out loud at how spot on this is. Yes, it's exaggerated, but then us southerners are exaggerated, outrageous, and fun loving!! AND we have the ability to laugh at ourselves and enjoy life to the max!

    You go, Girl!!!

i thought it was boring and in poor taste. I also am amused by how many people defend what is offensive by claiming 'sense of humor'

It has really changed my opinion of CH for the worse. I do not suppose she cares since she seems to be the current it person.
