Default Cat attacked, should I take her in?

Right in the middle of a bad storm, my dog strangely attacked one of my cats that someone was holding. She was serious about it, I think. I don't know why in the world she did it.
the cat seems fine. I have her locked up.
I have already been to the vets three times today, twice to spay a rescue and a dog showed up here with a broken leg, long story, people could not afford to take him to the vet, so I did.
We are having a horrible storm.
Should I take her if she seems fine?
    Damn.
I am going to try the turkey test, see if she will eat a piece.

How does she seem? Personally I would take her in if she had any broken skin, swelling, sensitivity, limb pain, etc. Only you know how much contact the dog made. Internal injuries are always a possibility and cats are very good at hiding pain. If she seemed fine but just a bit shaken I would keep a close eye on her for the next 12 hours.

She had nothing broken, no blood. She did eat a piece of turkey, so that's good, right? She talked to me. Damn dog.

She is fine, thanks for asking. I checked on her til midnight and I knew she was ok. I don't know what the stupid dog was thinking. She could have killed her, so maybe she wasn't trying to? Sigh. that dog is so much trouble, can jump the fence, chases horses, jumps on the hood of customer's cars!!! Everybody loved her though. Well...not the cat. Poor Eloise. She is 11 and I've brought this lunatic into her world.

Glad to hear she's doing well. Poor kitty!
Flip a coin. It's not what side lands that matters, but what side you were hoping for when the coin was still in the air.

She is fine. It looked like a serious attack, but I guess it wasn't. the dog is a 50 pound pit and could certainly have done some damage. Stupid thing.
    Thanks for checking.

The attack was most likely brought on by anxiety by what Ive read here but sometimes these things happen because we dont always understand their language Glad the kitty is fine though.
