Default Gun grabbing commies and corrupt police

I figured we could start a thread for all the gun grabbing commies and evil police officers to talk amongst themselves about ways to steal guns from the public and intimidate home owners.

I find it amazing that people can be so anti government and law enforcement while I'm watching the events in Boston unfold on live television. Those corrupt police officers are risking their lives to protect you. The amount of hatred and racism is incredible.

Everyone loves FF, no one likes LE. Not even when they are the ones who called them.

I have to post since I'm a member of the commie RARAs (not really, but got sick and tired of being accused of it).

I am sort of scared to ask this but....what does FF mean in this case?

Have worked with quite a few members of law enforcement over the years. Pretty thankless job if you ask me.

You cast a broad cloth. Most folks aren't anti-law enforcement. They are anti govt keeping a list of specifics for law abiding citizens. In the wrong hands abuse can happen because we are human.

One family member is Highway Patrol. The other is Military Police. I love 'em both and they are exactly the men you want out there between you and the bad guys.

I have a hunch that the citizens who own firearms and are within the dragnet of the Boston area manhunt are "waiting" easier then the citizens who choose not to keep a personal firearm. Nothing wrong with either choice because it is only that, a choice.

I wish to point out that your choice of the word "most" also casts a wide net.

Ya know, I say to each his own. That's the whole point of the country.
My concern is seeing the politicians make decisions of what's best for the country based on what a loud and self serving few demand.
This is not a representative government.

I am not a LEO, but I'm a LEO "by injection."

My Atlanta cops always told us which cops not to believe. Good cops know whom the bad cops are, and they don't like them. Most cops are hard working and great (abet crazy!) guys. Yes there are corrupt cops as there are corrupt lawyers and of course, 99% of all politicians are corrupt.

But when "my" Atlanta cops went out whether on patrol or off-duty, they risked their lives......black cops, white cops, risked their lives for all the people in Atlanta, rich or poor, black or white, etc. For very little pay.

some firefighters north of Atlanta were held hostage the other night by a crazy guy. Fortunately they survived because the swat team came in and got him.
(My horses call their farrier "FF" which does not stand for firefighter, LOL)

Romney imfamously stated 'we don't need more policemen, fireman, or teachers'.
I'm gonna' bet his son Tagg was grateful for the PD as he stood in Boston soaking up his 5 minutes of fame in front of the TV camera.

True re: pay for cops AND Firefighters. They work all 3 shifts, they work doubles, they work holidays, they miss soccer and baseball and dance recitals as well as other important events. It is an incredibly high stress job. One of the guys I work with has a friend who works in manufacturing on the floor, was talking to him about pay one day, the welder makes more than my co worker. He has benefits, a steady schedule and bonuses.

Law enforcement is government. You cannot disparage "government" and exclude law enforcement since law enforcement enforces the laws created by government. That is just more of the irrational thinking that does not make any sense. Own your anti-government sentiments.

I disagree. Law Enforcement enforces the law. They do not MAKE the laws. That is the difference.

This is how I feel too. My other favorite? People railing against how crappy, inefficient, and corrupt government is, how it does nothing but give hand-outs, etc....and they're government employees themselves.

I understand what you're saying--however, by enforcing the laws, they are tacitly in agreement with them. So if you despise the laws and the politicians behind them, how can you somehow exclude those that act as the "muscle" behind upholding those laws? And don't tell me that they're doing it because it's "just their job"...there are lots of careers out there, and supporting the idea of law and order has to be at least part of what motivates someone to become a member of law enforcement.

Just the ones trying to stomp all over the constitution, instill socialist programs (which are doomed to fail in a country this size) and strip us of our rights.

Obviously you aren't trying to get around being another wanna-be socialist. Bless your heart.
