No. He disowned their part of the family a while back. Seems to be related to the older brother and his behaviour.

I've been out in CA all week, flying home, into Logan, tomorrow. it is so surreal to watch this on the national news, I lived in Watertown Square for years, my ex-husband is still there, right on the other side of Arsenal Street from that house. he and his wife have been locked in all day. I recognize every landmark and street I'm seeing on the news.

CNN is showing a picture of the house and boat where he's holed up.

Right now, the talking heads are pontificating that there are likely additional operatives out there given the number of explosive devices found so far. Great.

I know they want him alive so that they can question him and make sense of all this, but I doubt that will happen...

If they have the guy cornered and they know he may be rigged with explosives, what is the rush and why risk more innocent lives...no need for more people to die

I think he's going to bleed out on the boat...they were reporting him being pretty bloody.

He's alive and in custody and medics are being called in (they don't know what condition he's in). Local Boston live coverage.

Glad they finally got him. If he's been bleeding since the middle of last night, he probably wasn't inshape to be much of a threat.

Here's what I don't understand. The guy fled on foot last night/early this morning. He's probably been bleeding. They spent hours searching. Where were the bloodhounds? Seems to me they'd have saved hours by using them. Are they just too low tech for today's police?

Bloodhounds are not really used anymore. If they wanted to use them to chase this guy, they would need a piece of clothing or some sort of item that has his current scent and that's not always possible.
