I've been out in CA all week, flying home, into Logan, tomorrow. it is so surreal to watch this on the national news, I lived in Watertown Square for years, my ex-husband is still there, right on the other side of Arsenal Street from that house. he and his wife have been locked in all day. I recognize every landmark and street I'm seeing on the news.

Here's what I don't understand. The guy fled on foot last night/early this morning. He's probably been bleeding. They spent hours searching. Where were the bloodhounds? Seems to me they'd have saved hours by using them. Are they just too low tech for today's police?

Bloodhounds are not really used anymore. If they wanted to use them to chase this guy, they would need a piece of clothing or some sort of item that has his current scent and that's not always possible.
