    Default Baby Needing Jingles Update

Since many threads disappeared yesterday (including mine), I'm just posting to all who sent jingles, prayers & good wishes for my sick filly.
She was discharged with a clean bill of health!
Thanks so much for your thoughts and well-wishes.

I was wondering if you were on here...

I just wanted to check in and say "Hi!" once the filly was out of the woods. I was the lucky gal who offered to help trailer mama and baby to Cornell and got her first trailer ride!

I'm soo relieved your filly is doing so well, she's a spunky one! Halfway through the ride, she decided she needed to nurse, RIGHT NOW! And clambered half-over the straw bale we used as a blocker in front of the mare (could jumping be in her future?), we assisted as best we could and didn't she squish right in and have a small drink. It was after that I ended up "baby sitting" for the next hour, making sure baby didn't go down under mom and keeping her comfortable as best I could when she had another "episode" 30min out from Cornell. It was heartbreaking for sure to be doing all that we could and watch her be in pain, mama clearly was worried and cares for her little girl.

Keeping the jingles alive on this end!

Heliodoro, I could just hug you! I was at work an hour away, and was going crazy not being able to be there. I was so worried about how everything would be set up in the van and was so scared she'd get stepped on or something. It was very comforting when I learned that she would have a babysitter back there looking after her. That must have been an interesting and harrowing trip.
If I'm not destitute and homeless from vet bills by then (lol), you're going on my Christmas list!! Thank you again for your part - it meant so much. I hope I get to meet you in person one day soon.
Here's a picture from today that Dr Mullen sent titled "Nap Time".
