    Default Goodbye, my sweet Zoe...

    Zoe (Zoe-bean, Zo Zo),

We started life together with my brother and I sitting on the floor begging our dad to adopt you all those years ago, it only seemed fitting that we said goodbye sitting together on the floor again. We may not have been the most dog savvy owners when we got you and you may not have been the easiest first, but you were loved for all your 15 years. I stood up against my father numerous times at the risk of being kicked out of the house to keep you(and I) happy and together. You may have destroyed countless sprinkler heads, but know we laughed the whole time behind our stern looks! I knew we had made the right decision today when you calmly allowed the vet and assistant to pet your head, as opposed to your traditional Cujo routine. I hope the tuna was the tastiest you ever had!

May I be lucky enough to end up where you and all my other animal loves are when I go...

RIP my sweet, baby girl. My little Zoe bean...

So sorry for your loss. It's never easy, but it's better than never having loved them.

I'm so sorry-it's the toughest part of having animals in our lives!

She was beautiful and long lived and happy, good on you.

What a beautiful photo of you and Zoe. That is priceless. I wish I had one like that for all of my dear departed 4-feet. Note to self and everyone else--TAKE A PHOTO LIKE THIS OF YOU AND YOUR 4-FEET.

I'm so sorry. I think the first beloved pet you lose (if Zoe is your first) is truly the worst, because the pain of grief and loss is so singular. Not that it gets better or easier; just more familiar maybe? No matter - it always hurts like hell

    Godspeed, Zoe. Hugs, Alli.

I am so truly sorry. My special four legged soul mate was also named Zoey, I lost her a year and a half ago. One of the hardest things in life, without a doubt.

Sorry for your loss. You can tell she had a great life - she was loved. Fifteen years is a long time, but it is never long enough. Godspeed Zoe.

She was a lovely girl. She was loved and she loved in return. It was a good life, for her. She made your life better. Now is hard and the hole is huge. I hope that the time it takes for that hole to fill with the loving memories is short. And, from another who hopes that, at some future time, I will meet all of my friends at the Bridge, picture her as I do mine, sleeping and playing in a lovely and peaceful place, waiting for you.

She is adorable! I am so sorry, it's just never easy to say goodbye, ever. Indeed it is never long enough. Zoe Bean, what a great name!!
