Default Mark Phillips is the new Belgian Team Trainer.

I am interested to see his results in a new environment. The variables are different in Europe then those of the USA.

I guess we also know who will be helping the Belgian team with their S/J :-)

So did he and his American SJer break up then? I thought he was moving to Florida with her or some such.

Mark might want to brush up on his french. This might be his first word:

    Les Schtroumpfs

What makes you think he can't/won't live in the US while coaching the Belgians?

After all, he lived in the UK while coaching the US.

Lucky for him that it's the same word in French and in Flemish.

SevenDogs, the word in both French and Flemish for 'cupcake' is cupcake.

This will make the adjustment period go so much smoother for CMP.

Ahhhhh.... duly noted. Google translator let me down. How does the phrase "toughen up" translate to Flemish?

I know the important words in every language.

(Also, I grew up in Belgium.)

Actually, I'm surprised that no one has expressed concern for CMP's health. His girth size increased while coaching the US; Belgium is paradise in terms of cuisine. Frites, chocolate, beer, gaufres.
