    I don't doubt at all that the German branch of PETA knew they had no chance of winning this case. I think it was all about making headlines for their cause. Who better to use?

    The charges bought sounded silly & could have been laid at the door of a number of people. Re the need to bring the horses x-rider into this why? There is an extremely small chance if not none that he will ever ride the horse again!

    Had they brought that suit in the USA it would be considered "malicious prosecution" for which PETA could be found liable and its attorney be up on professional disciplinary charges.

    Unless, of course, they are not trying to attract intelligent people. I mean, why would they? Stupid folks are so much easier to manipulate and direct. Nah, they need a handful of (very) smart folks at the very top, and bunch of stupid ones to make up the masses.

    Totilas wasn't breeding while competing with Gal
    not strictly true. I remember an interview with gal where he mentioned it but of course he was not breeding as much as he has been while with PS.
