Cool I have accepted the reality my mare is a hunter..hmm posts in thread went poof?

Based upon how she jumped around the course today with my friend who is also a trainer as I am still laid up. Oh and the fact that at the clinic this last weekend Frank Madden was kind enough to look at her video and remarked that she is going to make a very lovely hunter. There are worse things then that though

You say "hunter" like that's a bad thing. Hunters rock!!!!! :-)

Have fun with your mare. She sounds really nice. You could always do some derbies at a hand-gallop and pretend you are doing the jumpers. :-)

Huh two of my posts and another posters posts disappeared. Mods was it because I joked about trading horses?

I'm very much a jumper rider. Issue is my young TB mare is the same as your horse...she likes taking her time around course, and has a quiet slow jump. Get to the jumpers and while she doesn't say no, she's definitely pissier and isn't as happy and HATES the turns.

She says she just prefers the scenic routes....

*off to work on riding pretty....*
