Thanks! So does anyone else think his walk has tends towards being lateral? I am a big fan of this horse and bought some semen but a friend mentioned to me that she feels his walk has a strong lateral tendency ? I look back and think...hmm maybe if the rider were to collect the walk a bit but I can't find any footage of him doing anything but a walk on a very loose rein.
I have been told there was a glitch and posts inadvertently were deleted. So my original post was. My Donnerhall mare was bred using Dante Weltino. My vet said the semen was "excellent". My mare will be flushed on Wed. for an embryo. This mare did double ovulate so a better chance for one and a miracle for two.
It's not true that I had nothing on. I had the radio on.”

Saw Dante Weltino at his Licensing in Oldenburg and then again at Rastede at the State Championships. Saw no issues with his walk. Lovely stallion and looks so ridable. Bred him to my Rubinstein/Argentinus mare last week.
Posts were not deleted. There was a problem where we were posting on an alternate version of the bulletin board for about 8 hours. The posts made on the other board are not on this board. They're still over there, and while we were able to access the "other" board by modifying the URL (see my post with a link above) they've now shut that access down.
But no, posts were not deleted. They're just missing in the ether of the internet
Thanks Simkie, that explains it. Good to hear Nancy, crossing fingers you have a black dot in a few weeks. Bluemoon, please report back and let us know if it worked!
It sounds like there are no real issues with his walk, thank goodness.
I dunno, that walk does look like it has a slightly lateral tendency in the video Crosiadore posted. That said, there are a number of breeding stallions I can think of that have imho very lateral walks, and still score well on the walk portion of their SPT, so what do I know.
