We just shipped off Aut of the Balou by Amazing out of DoUThinkUCanDance to Oliver Brown . He will be showing in the Hunter Breeding Yearling Other than Tb class Colt/Gelding class. The plan is to get him out to a few shows and then to Devon. Here he is yesterday right before he got on the rig to head to Oliver.

My 2012 colt, Bandelero JSF, by Banderas out of Jete (by Columbus) will be showing in the nontb Yearling class at Devon. He's been to 2 shows so far, winning his class at both including Reserve Best Young Horse at his first show. He's being handled by Jay Francella who is just fantastic!
I'm also going to be doing him in the Amateur handler class

Thank you, Laurie. He's my first home bred and I've had a lot of fun with him.

Our 2012 gelding Fanfare LL by For Play (For Pleasure/Accord II) out of Kleopatra R (Kalypso/Armin) is being prepped at Cismont Manor Farm for a few shows, including Devon. Because Mr. Wheeler liked him enough to want to prep and show him, I already feel a huge achievement and can go to the shows and simply enjoy them. The world won't have to look at my famous neck braids this year! (Okay, I had wonderful professional braider help for the big shows with past hunter breeding entries!) I'm looking forward to meeting old and new friends at Devon and will be hauling a big parrot cage for one of those friends. Below is one of alliecat's photos of Fanfare from Warrenton 2012:

I have nothing to show in the HB classes at Devon, but I am really enjoying the eye candy on this thread!

My 2012 gelding River Blues is also with Junior and Laurie. River is by Romantic Star out of Paisley.

Some of my friends were enjoying my Facebook posts about River so I made him his own page. (Okay, I know that's ridiculous. Plus, I should have been working. Come to think of it, I should be working now.) But it has a few pictures...

I'm super excited as I have never shown a horse at Devon before and hadn't even been to the show before last year. I'm coming from California to Virginia for a visit next week, and will come back again next month for Devon and Upperville.
