I have a pair of the Eskadron open front (and the Dover version of the hind) hard shell/neoprene lined boots that I use on my horse and now that it's gotten warmer they seem to be rubbing his legs. Anyone else have this problem? They fit well. Would something like baby powder in them (or after riding) help or do you think it's the neoprene itself and I should start shopping for fleece lined boots? I noticed his neoprene Softtouch girth may be starting to rub, too.
PS, yes, he's a chestnut TB and I use them b/c, well, I don't think anything that provides any type of extra protection would be a bad thing on this horse.
