Default Male dog - simultaneous poop and pee?

I'm not overly worried about this but figured I might as well pose the question just in case.

Yesterday my 8 year old houndy mix copped a squat to poop. At one point I glanced down and saw an arc of urine squirting out between his front legs. Yowza - I've seen dogs do handstands to pee before but never this. The stream nearly hit him in the chin! I'm not even sure he noticed.

Was this just a result of a bit of extra straining? He'd peed a few times already and the stools were firm, but not hard. He had a couple more pees before we went back indoors.

Should I be worried or was the dog just being extra-efficient? I should add, he's neutered. Lance also does not drink as much water as the other dog and is a once/day pooper only, whereas Simon poops in the morning and the evening. So I am not surprised if his stools are a bit firmer.

Thanks - did not think it was a big deal but it never hurts to ask and better safe than sorry!

I sort of wish I'd gotten it on video; to add to the fun, he was unloading himself right at the base of the "No Dumping" sign!
