Rose Hill ridden by Jennifer Alfano is one of her foals out of Popeye K, I believe. She is grey like her mom and does quite well in the pro divisions.

Not to hijack, but along the same lines: anyone know anything about GG Valentine's baby(ies)? I remember she got retired and bred, but nothing since. Just curious.

And I still have a picture of RoxDene that I saved from a calendar, I think. Such an incredible horse.

He cannot have babies because he is a gelding, but In Disquise is retired about one mile from my home. I thought he was shoulder to shoulder with the two mares mentioned.

CBoylen who frequents this board owns Rox Dene. I'm sure she'll pop in here with an update

I saw in the NY Times that the doctor who did the procedure that resulted in the first test tube baby back in 1978 just passed away. I wonder if all the reproductive options we take for granted these days with broodmares (and people!) would have been developed without his work.

I elieve Rose Hill was Rox Dene's last foal. I think I remember C.Boylen saying the procedure was too much for her at her age (the mare, not c. Boylen

Rox Dene had another baby who is older...I forgot his name ut does well in the A/O with his owner. maybe his name was Rocky? Rocky Rules or something??? Loyal Pal was the stallion.

Yes, Rose Hill was Rox Dene's last foal, in 2005. Rox Dene is 27 now. Rocky Rules showed in the adults and a/o, and retired last year to a therapeutic riding center in the Midwest. He is 14. The filly by Loyal Pal is in the northeast, but not showing to my knowledge. Rose Hill is having a good year and has a great owner:http://www.chronofhorse.com/article/...oux-hunter-pri
