Default Red Wasps In the Barn. Getting them out and keeping them out!

Did a search on this and couldn't find much.

I've got red wasps hanging out in my barn, and they need to go. They haven't built nests yet, but I am sure they are forthcoming. I am not opposed to raid, but I would like to not have to keep killing them. So once I get them out, how do I keep them from coming back. I have never been in a barn that has had wasps in the rafters... what did I do that made it easy for them to setup camp in my barn?

    Thanks!

Pressure wash the area wasps leave a pheramone trail so they can find there nest . then spray area with a wasp spray.
