Electric corral - how is the trailer grounding the fence?
I am looking at a set up similar to this one: http://www.expresscorral.com/how-exp...rral-works.php
and actually have most of the components already from when I put up my Horseguard fence.
I have posts and a charger also. I do have trouble understanding how the trailer is providing the grounding as mentioned in the video about 3/4 of the way in. Anyone care to explain? It sure would be nice not having to pound in a grounding rod when out camping...
A friend told me I was delusional. I almost fell off my unicorn.
I don't know either, but that's a lot of money for a tape corral! You could buy all of those parts individually for half the price. You said you already have most of the parts, so if you use Horseguard Bi-Polar tape with your existing components, then you won't need a ground rod either. That's what I use with my corral, and it works great.
