Question Electric corral - how is the trailer grounding the fence?

I am looking at a set up similar to this one:
    http://www.expresscorral.com/how-exp...rral-works.php
and actually have most of the components already from when I put up my Horseguard fence.
I have posts and a charger also. I do have trouble understanding how the trailer is providing the grounding as mentioned in the video about 3/4 of the way in. Anyone care to explain? It sure would be nice not having to pound in a grounding rod when out camping...

I don't know either, but that's a lot of money for a tape corral! You could buy all of those parts individually for half the price. You said you already have most of the parts, so if you use Horseguard Bi-Polar tape with your existing components, then you won't need a ground rod either. That's what I use with my corral, and it works great.
RIP Victor... I'll miss you, you big galumph.

Thanks, I have enough tape leftovers but it's no bipolar, just the regular kind...

I wish my horse was 'nice' enough to stay in such a small, low fenced area. 'aybe with really quiet horses around....

And I would put something to protect the trailer as well. Not that my mare is crazy or nothing but she likes to lick and chew on shinny things, she almost got my glasses!
