Oh, my! That seems a bit forward. Cyber-dating taken to the horse world in a weird way. It does seem like a discriminatory business practice though. And as everyone knows, the only man who'd be attracted to a horse with all that hair is, um....not going to be able to legally marry in Oregon if you know what I mean!
Proud member of the "Don't rush to kill wildlife" clique!
I wonder if she could get nailed for discriminatory business practices
That would be interesting, though I wonder if she could make an argument for it providing a benefit of some sort...or of male boarders being at a disadvantage. (Hey, there are so many women at barns...affirmative action!) Or it's a sneaky way to get women to board, in the hopes there are lots of men taking her up on the discount...
Somebody needs to write a story for one of the men's magazines: "Where the Girls Are".
My husband claimed to be taking riding lessons in Bahrain so that we could enjoy riding together. The fact that he had a sexy blond Dutch instructor barking orders at him and demonstrating how to move his pelvis with the horses movement was just an added bonus, I'm sure. Regardless, he came back a much better rider than me
On a side note, how in the hell can anyone provide full board for $150 a month - much less $100 a month. I keep mine at home, and it's a lot of work; and we rent our place for a reasonable price and have a very non-fancy (redneck) type setup.
Conclusion: I'm adding this place to my list of reasons that I want to retire to the PNW - DH can get a $50/mo. discount

Is it any more discriminatory than bars where ladies drink for free on Friday nights, or clubs where women get in free before/after a certain hour or on a certain night? (ladies night?) At least here she's still making the men pay, just pay less. Then she'll constantly ask them to lift the heavy stuff, since they're stronger. And fix stuff, since they know how (it's genetic, of course). [sarcasm]
