Default Chattanooga TN area folk - open shows@ Saddle Pals starting up!

Saddle Pals in Soddy Daisy is hosting the 1st show of the year this coming weekend, Sat. April 13th.

Class sheet here (if you can't see it let me know and I'll email it to you)

It's a nice low key day, great for getting kids and young horses out into the ring and out and about. The concession stand serves great food and there's plenty of parking. All breeds and riding styles welcome, and you don't need specific show clothes. Wear it if you've got it, but clean, neat, and safe is al that's required.

Gates open at noon, 1st class at 2pm

** The club DOES require the Original coggins, not a copy** A couple of years ago we got burned by someone doctoring their coggins and someone else calling the Ag Dept on them, but not telling the PTB in the club. Big fat unnecessary hassle now = original coggins only.

It's a great time of year to be outside there. I sure wish I was on the lake right now. Just zooming around on a Wave Runner.

Someone care to elaborate on the "hillbilly jumping" class?

If I lived closer, I'd love to go. There aren't enough schooling shows near me!

I believe it is exactly that! bonus points given for western saddles, overalls, straw in your mouth etc.

Unfortunately I'll be out this weekend and no horse trailer Otherwise I have a cute little arab mare and I'd like to see how she would handle that kind of environment.

Yep, anything but proper jumping attire! one gal goes bareback with baling twine for a halter or a neck rope, and a can of soda in one hand. She says it ought to be beer, but she's under age! She herself is in shorts and bare feet if its warm enough
