I used to ride my horse down the road past a farm that bred minis. One day we were walking by and the whole herd of 20-30 minis and foals were up at the far end of the field. One of them looked up and must have said "Hey look! There's a horse on the road!" because the whole bunch of them kicked up their heels and galloped down to the road. My poor horse didn't know whether to bolt, run back to the barn, or keel over in fright.
Better hope you don't look or smell like an apple.
Once those things get you down, it's all over.
Diabolical indeed. The assistant trainer at my barn rides for other people, and one of the minis at the other barn she rides at frequently bowls her over. Just runs straight into her knees and takes her down. Minis should play football.
If i smell like peppermint, I gave my horse treats.
If I smell like shampoo, I gave my horse a bath.
If I smell like manure, I tripped.
