OK, guess I am spoiled. The BO's staff will wash our blankets in the washing machine at the barn for $20.00. I gladly do this throughout the winter - maybe once every 3-4 weeks. Then send them all out in Spring to be professionally washed/re-waterproofed/mended. I do the sheets and coolers at home, usually try for a time when husband is not around.
What's wrong with you?? Your cheese done slid off its cracker?!?!

My guys are out 24/7 and I washed their blankets 4 times this winter. They each have a main blanket I prefer and a spare (or 5 lol) I use while their good one is being washed and rewaterproofed. I can't imagine not washing them all winter long, the yuck gets hard and frozen on the blanket and the underside gets dirty and dusty.

When you take them to the car wash, do you use soap? Or just water?
