Default Want to see my newest XC fences?

Jon Wells was here this week & built some new fences to go with my collection. They turned out super cool!

The picture frame--the roll portion can be adjusted as high as prelim height or lowered to BN.

The Prelim skinny, the Training skinny & the Novice Rolltop/Bench. The novice fence can be jumped from either direction.

Aren't they awesome? The lumber needs to cure a bit and then I'll stain them.

Those are awesome! We've been thinking about building some new XC jumps but I'm sure they won't be half this glorious. Good work!

Holy cow, those are really cool! How long did they take to build and approximately how much did it cost in materials?

What are you going to plant on that trellis? Nice statement piece! or photo frame as mentioned!

3 Dazey, I still have two piles of snow hanging in, I bet they'll be gone by tomorrow, though.

Tbpony, Jon was here for about a week, materials were about $1500.

I add 3-5 XC jumps per year so the folks that come to my camps, clinics, and shows don't get tired of visiting. That and I think I may have a hoarding problem.

    Gorgeous fence!

LAZ would you clarify the adjustable to BN height comment. Is that for schooling purposes or would you like to see this type of fence on BN/N courses?

Awesome! Thanks for sharing the pics, esp the skeleton of the jumps to see how they were built! I can add these to the list for my hubby to do this summer

They look like well made jumps!

Are those posts sticking out of the roll top in the picture frame jump always going to stick up like that? Or will they be covered by the roll top when in use?

These are primarily for schooling. I will put them on the course for BN & N at my schooling shows but I will have an option around through a gate for anyone that doesn't want to give it a go.

The posts do protrude from the top of the roll when it is lowered, but they are right next to the arbor if you hit them you're already seriously wrong...
