Jingles for the sweet athletic Bo! Here's hoping he knows...

that what's good for him is to tolerate the hassle of T-shirt and crate, at least for a couple of weeks.

Jingles for Bo Jackson from Montana!
My kitty had an abscess blow right in the middle of his chest, could see inside...pretty gross. He had to be quiet and wear the e collar cone of shame. also kept him in the crate. Poor little guy!

    lilitiger2,
Jingles from KY for your kitty, too!

Bo knows: How to escape the collar of shame.
How to escape from the sleeve.
How to escape from the crate!
How to jump up on the kitchen counter while I was cooking dinner, after he escaped from the crate!

We changed crates. We made the collar tighter. Today, we are going to refashion the other shirt sleeve to fit him better, so that he will not be able to remove it.

We are having trouble getting him to drink water. He is eating very well, but not drinking or peeing enough. My DH has started giving him water with a syringe. We do not want to have to go back to the Vet for fluids!

Any suggestions for getting him to drink out of his water bowl would be greatly appreciated. If we cannot get him to do this, how often would you syringe water into him?

If he won't drink enough water maybe try alternatives... chicken broth is popular with many cats, and not many can resist "tuna water" (liquid from a can of tuna packed in water). See if that works!
