A man who pleaded guilty to federal horse abuse charges is now facing state charges.
A Fayette County grand jury has indicted Jackie McConnell on 22 counts of animal cruelty.
Back in May, the Humane Society of the US released a video showing McConnell and others beating and whipping horses at his stable in West Tennessee.
McConnell is already serving three years probation and has been fined $75,000 for his federal felony conviction.
