    Default Just have to know... Why are soft shell washable jackets only in black and navy?

    They don't. Asmar had them in red and grey as well.

    I'm pretty sure all the Animo ones are washable and they come in a rainbow of colours.

    I have one from outback trading company that is an autumn orange color. I've seen them in all different colors. However, darker colors do seem to be the norm...black, navy, green etc.

    I would imagine that black and navy are by far the most popular coat choices since they appeal to all riders (hunter, jumper, and eq), and since the washable coats are newer, I would think that manufacturers would start with what's popular before moving on to the less common choices.

    But several manufacturers do offer washable coats in a variety of colors. Animo, Asmar, Spooks, Pikeur, and there are others that offer a pretty wide range of colors and options.

    I saw a baby blue one on the weekend and thanked my lucky stars I hadn't eaten anything yet.
