    Thanks... I have been to Kentucky a ton to ride/show already.

    Yes we would need a visa, but eventually would become US citizens

    well..... while it can* be expensive to live here - it is also heaven on earth there is a huge range of available options and price points. you can board at super fancy or non fancy - as an example I have boarded at barns that charge 450/month for full board care and upwards of 1k/month for similar.

    so as in all things - it all depends on what you want, how much you can afford etc.

    i would suggest coming out for a looksee and travel to the various parts of the state.

    It will be pricey to send the horses out - i spent a year in ON and it cost 3000 to ship my horse there and back. it cost a lot more to ship my possessions. it was all worth it tho as it was a great experience

    so, come visit and see what you think!
