    hummm.....most CIC's that I've seen do have a "jog" basically at the end of the xc course after you cross the finish lines the horse trots by. I'm not sure if that is considered a "jog" or a vet exam.

    If they can not pass that jog, they should get an X. Sorry...I don't care if you normally have an night to ice etc. I want the horses who finish xc sound to be rewarded. And it is so close to finishing, it isn't like the horses should be showing soreness from the test at that point yet...which is what we are typically addressing with icing and walking. They SHOULD be loose, warm and sound.
