That is a fantastic idea. I tend to Velcro mine inside out and toss them in the washer a lot. The spin cycle gets them really dry and then I do the blanket bar thing. I Love your idea though and am going to make one for my barn.

I love it! I was thinking that a strip of velcro on the trailer would also be a good idea. Very good idea!!

I hose mine off and then throw them in a pile on the floor.
    Works good for me!

I had a bar like that in my old barn. It was pretty handy.

I have one of the stanley trunks with the bar that pulls out to the side, so I will often just strap my boots to that bar if I don't want to leave them on his stall.

eponacowgirl told me about this thread. I will have to try the velcro bar when I get my own barn someday!

Great solution! The ladder to my hay loft is at the end of my wash stall so I might tack a strip of velcro to the side of the ladder for my boots. It will be vertical but it should work.

STEALING!!! But certainly not taking credit for. Now I dont have to chop my own head off (not on purpose! ) when I go into the tack room to turn the lights on!

ah ha. i just stick them on my wall in my gooseneck. the velcro on the boots sticks to the carpeted wall. they are ez to reach. i also do this with my gloves, bell boots. anything with velcro.

Great idea! Would love to see a pic. My only concern would be dust/dirt/SHAVINGS reducing the velcro effect, but it sounds as if it's a fairly inexpensive system, so replacing wouldn't be a big deal.

I used to use a 4-tier skirt hanger (the sort with clips on it) and would hang the wet boots flat (clipped at the boot, not the strap) on each tier. It really facilitated the drip dry process.

I drop them down a manure rake or a broom handle. Especially handy when at a show.
