Default Anyone riding or spectating at Texas Rose HP this weekend?

I'm thinking about driving up to watch and maybe take photographs (for me) at the TRHP this weekend and was wondering if any COTHers were going to be there. They are running their first Advanced, I believe, so I'm really wanting to check it out.

Who else will be out and about?

I'll be there braiding as usual.

    And of course supporting everyone!
But I REALLY want to watch our Advanced entries run around XC.
Hopefully they won't go until later on Sat (I thought I read on EN that Advanced XC will go Sat??)

Kirsten - A, I, P and maybe T are doing XC on Sun...according to Mike yesterday.

    5 dressage rings on Saturday.

Stadium starts at 10 for A

I will be there with Cyriz in OP. We'll be stabled in the far back barn, would love to see some COTH folks!

Also, I hope they do XC for N on Sat! That will help Emily with her guy.
I always appreciate running XC with the youngsters before SJ. Gets them nice and brave. : )

Cyndi, would you come pick me up? I want to go watch, but just don't want to drive that far.

    Bhahahahahha

BTW, Seaze the Morning's mom's phone is messed up and she'll need live reports. Would you text her? I think she can get texts.

Oh good, at least a few COTHers will be there. If I do make it up, I will be sure to stop by and see Cyriz. I just love him!

    Go TRHP! Go Texas eventing!

Wish I could be there, but alas, Easter fun and ceremony interrupt. To everybody who gets to go watch and support and ride -- best of luck, and a great day to all!

I got out for a while to watch some stadium yesterday. If you saw someone being dragged around by a ridiculously cute toddler that wannted to pet every puppy, that was me!

I'm about 40 miles south, and I could see the sky up there go black and lightning start right about the time Advanced cc was supposed to start. Were having quite the gully-washer at the moment. Hope they get to run, but things will for sure be interesting!!

Toadie - Right about the time the last P rider finished, the heavens opened and it got ugly. Torrential rain, lightning and thunder. It delayed everything about an hour and almost all of Adv withdrew and about half of Intermediate. The two who did the Adv. (Ellen and Julie) went really slow. It was a big let down!

On the up side, Cyriz ROCKED the XC and finished 4th after a less than stellar dressage that put them in 8th. Now on to Holly Hill ...... drum roll please....... He's doing Intermediate!!!!!

    Thanks TM!

BTW, not sure what happened to Kylie and Ev. I think they either went in the rain or right after in the slop. They were great yesterday.
