    Default Badminton Glamping

    Now that's novel!

That I would do in a heartbeat. I wonder what glamorous toilet/bathing arrangements the pods have? Answer: None apparent.

Since when have horse people required anything more than a bush and a hose?

I get it. I like it. I love that you can be near your car, and I assume, your horse. But I gotta have a shower, a toilet, a sink, a mirror, and air conditioning. I would probably have thought that (glamping) was heaven when I was a teenager!

    So true, but
As I get old, I NEED!! IMMEDIATE access to toilets at night. I couldn't make it to a bush. I also prefer warm water now.

Would suggest two additions to the pods: a porta-potty and a shower cubicle attached with either a sun shower (but this would be Britain after all) or a hot wash unit. Some of the pods come with electricity and propane on demand water heaters for camping have been around for eons. The descriptions don't mention what users are supposed to do for water, so maybe there'll be a communal fountain or a single hose for everyone. HOW GLAM IS THAT!!

Also I've learned from past experience that cots are cold and so are air mattresses; if you're in a tent, you need a pad on the floor and THEN the air mattress. This is, after all, England in early spring--and my experience has been that it will be likely to be cold and damp. Gotta say that thinking about it now is making me shiver.
