Clarksdale, MS--the golden buckle on the cotton belt

Bassompierre is the sire of Custom Made. Very, very well established line for Irish event horses. Naturally he left no TB stallion sons.

I've been watching the California horse for years. He must be ancient now also.

I have as well but now there are some offspring to see and they look very nice from the range of mares they have used. He has ver nice form over a fence for more than one purpose as well. PatO

From dealing with Ilian himself, I can say he definitely has the temperament you are looking for. Total gentleman in every respect. Not cold per se, but you have to deliberately rev the engine to get the blood. The handful of his kids (and one grand kid) that I know are super easy going individuals. He is not a huge guy, but again, all the offspring I know were bigger than him (including 2 17+handers out of TB or TBx mares).
