Default Good Sale Barns in California AND beyond

I have a fancy hunter for sale but my trainer is decidedly not a marketing person. Any recommendations on a sale barn for top quality hunters? We are in California but I am not opposed to sending him out of state. Also I want some control where he goes... California has a lot of barns with no turn-outs, no hay and no paddocks. My horse is not going to one of "those" barns. Any feedback or information would be appreciated.

Hope and Ned Glynn in Sonoma, they have a top notch training business for hunters but also do a lot of sales.

I second Hope Glynn, Sonoma Valley Stables. The horses from her facility are kept in top notch condition at all times. The facility is safe and lovely. Hope knows hunters!! Big time. She deals with quality animals for sale/lease all the time. She would even show your horse locally to help the sale. She is honest and hardworking and very talented in the saddle and as a trainer. She will be showing at the Sonoma Horse Park series all season, this would be a great venue to show your horse at. Excellent footing in all the arenas. Call her and see if she is willing to take a look at your hunter.
Lions and Tigers and Bears, oh my!!

I don't know what part of California you are in but you might want to give Julie Winkle (Maplewood Stables) a try in Reno, NV (4.5 h from San Francisco). She has a lot of connections nationwide, and goes to A shows in CA. I have found that her full training/board is much cheaper then trying to sell in CA. And surprising Reno has a strong equestrian community for nice horses.
