My guess is it was HOT that day. We always have to watch out for this undersaddle when creek crossing, we stop, they paw and paw and if you aren't careful, whoop, down they go. Hope they give Duke his very own pool!

A couple summers ago, my horse unhooked the hose to the water trough in her pasture and dumped it, rolling around in the giant puddle. She would love a pool!

When I was growing up, our last lesson of the year before summer break (and summer riding camp) was a bareback lesson and we'd ride through the pond on the property for about an hour.

If i smell like peppermint, I gave my horse treats.
If I smell like shampoo, I gave my horse a bath.
If I smell like manure, I tripped.

Disposable toy? How can that pool withstand the hooves?

My mother had to pull one of our heifers out of a bathtub (low budget trough) when I was little A neighbor came over to help, then called the local radio station & made her a celebrity.
