He's a "point and shoot" kinda guy. He's not going to put himself in danger as long I hang on. We do scary trails and I'f I don't pay attention, then bad things can happen. Because I'm supposed to be the responsible one and beleive me, I don't want that to go bad in a heartbeat. Love this horse.
because she held her ground when two Border collies charged us and let me shoo them from away the saddle - and could cause me to write world's longest run-on about other examples of the "crazy" OTTB mare I love
In regards to my attack horse...
I was walking through the pasture with the excavator that was going to dig a water line. Attack horse (unbeknownst to me) was following us. I turned around to say HI to the horse, tripped and landed on my behind. Nice excavator dude took a couple of steps over to give me a hand up and the Attack Horse pinned his ears, bared his teeth and lunged at the poor guy. He wasn't kidding. Attack Horse came over to me and put his head down and kept nuzzling me. He alternated nuzzling me and glaring at the poor guy.
I got up and we continued on our way, but my sweet horse kept a sharp eye on the excavator dude.
