You could send an e-mail to the newspaper and ask them.

Perhaps, Lady Eboshi, for those of us who live nearby but who haven't heard of the tragedy, to offer comfort or support and to let the horse community know what is going on, so it can swing into action to help these folks. Perhaps it is so others can learn from the tragedy what to do or not to do with their own barn. Perhaps it so we can simply share the grief they must be feeling. Sheesh!

Same thing happened near Barrie, On, yesterday. Luckily, the horses were all out and are safe, they lost all their equipment/grain/blankets. Still have round bales though. They also lost 3 dogs. So sad in both cases.

Just noting this is a city named Oregon in the state of Ohio. I saw the title and thought it was Oregon state at first!

Very sad news, regardless of location.

Is it Oregon or Ohio. The article named both states.

The picture of Harley with the boots in the stirrups brings tears to my eyes.

Very sad. My computer is acting funny so I'm not able to open the link. Do they know what caused the fire?

They don't know. I talked to the barn and they didn't lose much tack, it was stored elsewhere.

I'm about an hour and a half from them if Google is correct I have some stuff I may take out this weekend.
