    Default Jingles for Pudding cat

Jingles please for my barn cat Pudding who was attacked by 2 dogs this morning. She is at the vet with multiple puncture wounds and an injured left hind plus shock. The vet will exam and x-ray once she is stabilized.

The one good thing from this is the smaller of the 2 dogs was barking which alerted me to the attack. Otherwise I would be wondering where my cat went as the larger dog tried, several times, to grab her and take her into the woods.

Oh no, poor Puddin'. Big jingles from WA. That's one of my nightmares.

Your dogs? Neighbor dogs? Strays? Not that it matters to the kitty. I'll sing a few rounds of Soft Kitty under my breath for peace and healing...

Thanks for the jingles and more are needed.
She has puncture wounds near left front elbow and on the left hind. Worst is fractured ribs, jingles worked-her lungs were not punctured! They have treated her for shock and will keep her overnight for observation. We should be able to bring her home tomorrow. She is in a lot of pain plus we will have to watch the punctures for infection.

I didn't recognize the dogs, the larger dog appeared to be of good weight and wore a collar. Odd because most all of our neighbors, small horse community, have invisible fences to keep the peace. I advised our next door neighbor and am certain the rest if the community now knows about the dogs.
The dogs ran back into the woods so they could have been abandoned, could belong to someone riding or hiking in Hunt Country (we border on some 1000 acres) or belong to some one visiting our neighbors. At any rate I will have my "friend" with me when I go out from now on. Especially since DH and I saw a good sized coyote the other night.

I'm glad that the wounds are all such that they will heal. I will keep jingling. Good idea to take your "friend" along, but I sincerely hope that you never see those dogs again.

I hope Pudding recovers totally and that your friend takes care of the problem! I don't know what I would do if someone else's dog attacked one of my cats; we love them dearly!

    Jingling for PuddyTat

I lost a dear feline friend 3 years ago on Valentine's Day to 2 neighborhood dogs. It was beyond horrible and I hope your kitty pulls through.

Jingling like mad for Pudding. How traumatic for her - I mean, every cat's worst nightmare. Yikes!
