OP - I have not shipped from Europe, but did fly a mare from west coast to east. It frankly never occurred to me that there could be a loading problem, and thankfully there wasn't. I'm curious to see the responses you get now that the "problem" is clarified.

To the OP: you mean "loading" as in the horse "loading" onto the pallet or "loading" onto the plane? Are you saying you are worried your horse will not load?

Or are you talking about the pallet. I DO know that if the shipper can't find other horses to share a pallet or if that's not possible (like with a mare/foal combo or stallion) then the owner will have to pay for the whole pallet...or at least that's what my friend was told when she was bringing over some mare/foal combos.

I assume that's still true; this was over 10 yrs ago.

Sorry, but I'm just alittle confused as to the actual issue.

Based on this sentence in her first post, I think it is a horse problem not a pallet problem...
"Such as if you horse missed the flight or would not load into the container. "

    Ahha!

Well, I don't want to put words in the OP's mouth, but are you thinking the problem is the horse would not/could not go in the pallet, but the shipping company is charging her anyway?

    Is that the issue?
