I have been a diabetic for 40 years, and yes, I can absolutely relate to everything she wrote. now, at 50, the disease has done damage and riding is a challenge. after some serious medical issues this past year, I am hoping to get back into the show ring.y endurance, or rather lack of it, is my main stopgate

I applaud this mother for pushing her girls to be as "normal" as possible and showing her gilrs that diabetes and all it comes with can be managed in a "real world" setting!
