    Default I bought a mini gelding....**picture!**

To be friend/buddy to my Sammy.

His name is Jack, because I misunderstood the owner's husband when he said it. I like Jack better than their name for him, although I am tempting fate by changing his name.

He's grey, about 5-ish, although I'd say he's a bit older because he's a little too white for a five year old, under 8 anyway. He's broke to cart and to ride for a child.

He's about 9h tall and I don't know how much he weighs. His mane is so bloomin' thick, it splits and falls on both sides of his neck. '

I'll post a pic if someone can tell me how to do so. I'm looking at all the buttons and don't see how to do it. Should I link to, say, Photobucket??

Oh, he's adorable! I'm anxious to see how he looks in the summer, too --- underneath all that hair, I bet he's even cuter than he is now. And he does look like a Jack!

He's here now. He and my Sammy went tearing around the pasture for a bit and then both found the muddiest spot they could, dropped and wallowed around a bit. Happy as two clams.

Jack also found out what a hot wire is. It's icky out right now, but I'll get more pix soonest!

He is a cute little guy, minis are FUN!

And TOTALLY off topic – Pickled eggs with beets!!!!! (saw it on your FB page) I love them – my hubby thinks I am crazy (no one out here in CA eats them, few have ever heard of them!) Although my (family) recipe is a bit more involved (cooking down vinegar and sugar, pickling spices, rings of white onion). I need to make some this weekend!

    Here are my picked eggs
