    I am a thinline fan too. The video of dropping a golf ball on it sold me!

    Not to hijack - but I had a cover for my thinline that shurnk. So i;ve been sans cover and now it's yucky dusty brown. Any tips on how to get it shined up again?

    Funny you should ask, I ran across a thread on that - someone mentioned using the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser . . . with excellent results.
