I'm looking for Hunter stallion suggestions who produce great movement and jump, along with most importantly great brains and temperament, quiet and easy going- who are ammy friendly that cross well with Tb mares ...also as for the Tb stallion suggestions ...I'm looking for something that can produce a racehorse and or a show hunter
Does "Street Cry" have any handsome sons at stud? Street cry on that mare line made Street sense.
Desert Party stands in New York at Sequel Stallions. He's got an interesting pedigree for both racing and sport, especially for this mare. Not a bad looking horse either, but his stud fee is $7,500. http://www.sequelnewyork.com/stallions/

On the TBs...stay in PA or travel out of state? Studfee range? If you are looking for a race TB with a sporthorse studfee it will shorten the list by a LOT! A first choice off the top of my head for the whole package TB is Sir Juli Go in Carlisle. He won 100K at the track, retired sound and has a lovely jump form on him as well.If you want a big time racehorse at a reasonable fee in KY look at Eddington. I saw him last year at Claiborne where his fee had been dropped to 5K...upper end of sporthorsedom but cheap by race standards. He had a lovely temperment, nice build and I have seen a few local Eddingtons that were OTTBs that went on to be nice hunters.
FYI - Alot of those published stud fees for racing stallions can be had for much cheaper through the many agents (they advertise in The Blood Horse magazine, etc.). If the books aren't filling (and you can check how many foals they are producing in the stallion registers) -- you can make an offer or check on a better deal with the farm or the syndicate. But going through an agent that has seasons/shares for sale from the share owners who aren't using the season is the best route to take.
Ideally I'd like to stay in Pa or close to it-unless the absolute best stallion/price were elsewhere than I'd consider sending her out-although I'd rather not....stud fee price range-ideally under 5k ...again ...unless the hands down best choice were a little more than I'd consider it...,I've heard off the top of my head in the past people mention that Partners Hero, Harry The Hat, Castle Cove, Lido Palace, Two Punch, Pleasant Colony, Seattle Slews,Alphabet Soups -and I'm sure I'm forgetting some are also known to be good Sporthorses?! Anybody care to weigh in...and would any of those be decent crosses with my gal?!?
I am certainly not an expert, but Alphabet Soup would hands-down be my number one pick. Caro and Cozzene are very nice to see in sport bloodlines. But A.S. is getting up there in years, so fertility might be an issue. Several of the stallions you mentioned are long passed, so you'd have to check into any sons by them. Stallions by Pleasant colony tend to be looked upon favorably (but take into account their dam lines as well), but most Seattle Slew lines tend to be passed over in the sport world. I do not like the pedigrees of Lido Palace and Two Punch for sport at all. Mr. Prospector can be iffy for sport; he is notorious for passing on crooked legs. Again, I am by no means an expert, but this is my 2 cents' worth. Hopefully someone else will chime in with some better insights. Good luck!
