    No.
If i smell like peppermint, I gave my horse treats.
If I smell like shampoo, I gave my horse a bath.
If I smell like manure, I tripped.

Where's Aunt Esther when you need her?

    Thumbs down

    Fail.
They tried too hard to make it look like a saddle.
It probably weighs a ton, it is too big to hang well, I doubt it will hold its shape for long if actually used...
    I don't like it.

They could have achieved more of an equestrian flair if they had used a classic basic purse design with fancy bridle stitching on the shoulder strap instead of a buckle on the strap use a hook and keepers, for front leather a light weight version of European tanned saddle leather, pigskin saddle seat leather on the side with the same thread thin piping we all know is between the panel and the seat.
The non equestrians would just think it was a well made purse, the real riders would see the equestrian theme from an arena length away.

And since it would be expensive anyhow might as well get a custom print for the silk lining. I would have the print look like a mix of old horse related bills vet/board/farrier/feed... showing dates so the kids who inherit will say 'that's all you paid for...' and perhaps if they even look make some of the 'Equestrian Chic' realize that the person in the paddock boots and older truck/car probably has more expendable income than they realized.

I like it! I saw a western saddle/purse in church a couple of weeks ago, and I couldn't think about the sermon at all for coveting it!

I like it, but I also like Christian Dior's saddle purse with the ostrich leather.

The fact that the stirrup is in the wrong place is bothering me. How about this one?

    Agreed.

I like some of these (but way out of my price range):

I don't like the bag in the OP either.

Ewwww! To me that is the kind of thing a non horsey woman with money would go for, to look like she was horsey! Bleck~ Not my style.
Besides it does not go with jeans and tee shirts!

It would irritate the mcshizzle out of me that the alleged stirrup bar is placed way too far back.

Although I do have horses, and ride english/dressage, I like the wine box purse much better.

I have a gucci bag with the web surcingle strap, and that's about as equestrian as it's going to get for me.

    Default Aunt Esther responds

Aunt Esther, national and international Purse Champion, sends greetings to her dear friend Mr Matson, and gently points out that the purse is not something any self respecting equestrienne would be caught dead with.

When one wishes to give a nod to the horsey lifestyle with one's accessories, Aunt Esther suggests Gucci, Longchamps or Ralph Lauren. Aunt Esther, of course, prefers Hermes.

    With love,

    Aunt Esther

Mine is cute, but not really my style, it more makes me think of a cutesy little girls purse. It was a thoughtful gift though
