Guys the point of the steals and deals thread is to SHARE these steals and deals, so that OTHER people can also benefit.

    Not to come and gloat.

I bought an Aramas fancy padded Devon bridle with reins for 205.00 with shipping. Nicest bridle I own so I turned around and ordered another from Classic Saddlery. Thanks for indulging my weakness....nice leather!!

Is this to give a heads up on sales or just to brag on how lucky we were to grab a deal?
If it's the second, then here it goes:
I just bought a brand new, tags still attached, with free express shipping, GPA soft-shell/technical coat in anthracite grey with cream suede collar for...hold on to your seats...: $249!!!!!!!! A $500 value!

I'm beginning to believe that diamonds are not a girl's best friend, Ebay is!
Over what hill? Where? When? I don\'t remember any hill....

I bought a pair of new custom Der Dau field boots on ebay for $180! Just need to put some zippers in them!
Last year I bought a pair of brand new Ariat Crowne Pros for $100 which are now my schooling boots because of the Der Daus I bought
Oh! and about a week after I got my Der Dau boots, I found a NWT Charles Owen AYR8 for only $225!

I agree, eBay is my best friend.

Pisano and Son in West Chester, PA has a good reputation. They accept ship ins.

I am pretty sure there is at least one poster here that had zippers added by Pisano and was happy with them. I think another poster had a zipper put in badly by a local cobbler and Pisano fixed it. (I was too lazy to try to dig up previous posts)
Oh, well, clearly you're not thoroughly indoctrinated to COTH yet, because finger pointing and drawing conclusions are the cornerstones of this great online community. (Tidy Rabbit)

For anyone looking for an inexpensive quality saddle...

I Sell Tack has a 16.5" Beval for $275!!! Has some discoloration (from mold?) but if you need a cheap quality schooling saddle here you go! Still seems to be in great shape.
