    Default Yee-HAHHH!

We used to do this on our horse club Play-Days using old car hoods instead of canvas drags.

Luckily, no one got killed. Bumps and bruises, yes; killed, no.

I've never heard of whatever this is, but it looks like an application for the Darwin awards

Shorty Gorham and his crew are the PBR bull fighters. The rest are bull riders. This is a walk in the park for them.

Some one told me they used to do this with snow shovels: butt goes on shovel part, horse pulls you along.

Yea, so if anyone wants to try it & report back...

I guess you'd be facing backwards?

The kids at the big event barn where I board my mare in the winter, do this when there's enough snow on the ground. They tack up their horses / ponies, get sleds / snowboards etc, and pull each other all around the property at full gallop.
Makes a terrible racket and is great to desensitize your basic Ottb mare.
As long as you can stay ON said Ottb mare when the racket is going on, that is.
    Yup, great fun.
