Default A Riders Survival from Tyranny... CDK

Have you read it? What did you think?

I am in need of a good book.

It's a very poignant look at how CDK's life was during the war. I bought it , very much worth the read. Only regret is I wish I could have gotten a signed copy! I respect and value him as a rider and have learned so much from what he has published about riding, it was nice to have the insight into part of his life. I would recommend it.

Okay, I just figured out you weren't talking about Courtney King-Dye.

    Who is CDK?
    A helmet saved my life.

2014 goal: learn to ride like TheHorseProblem, er, a barn rat!

Do not confuse motion and progress. A rocking horse keeps moving but does not make any progress.

It's a very short read, so if you're needing a good book for a long flight find something longer. I finished de Kunffy's book in about an hour and a half.

After the recent discovery of Richard the Third, I've been reading whatever I can get my hands on about him. One good fiction account (but well researched, IMO) is "The Sunne in Splendor" by Penman.

I think his stuff is very thoughtful and I find the books by him are the best written dressage books I own. I give them as gifts a lot.
