    Jingle, jingle, jingle. And really, try honey in a syringe, every 15 minutes or so. It's always worked for me to get them eating.

    Yesterday was very touch and go. I think she will be back at the vet this morning. I am VERY worried - I think her abdomen is swelling

    Oh dear... so sorry to hear this. I hope there is nothing to worry about but a visit to your vet ASAP is the best idea.

    Oh no I was going to say to get her in for an ultrasound the other day to be sure she didnt have any ascites. Jingles that this is just a minor setback. Poor shade.

    Ascites is the build up of fluid in the space between the lining of the abdomen and abdominal organs (the peritoneal cavity).
