Actually another COTH board member (Kasjordan) found my latest endurance prospect on CL and pointed him out to me. Here is Xander's ad photo and here he is the a few days after I brought him home. I need to do some new pictures after he sheds out this spring because he looks way different

Thanks for the kind words about my Bonnie- She was free on cl- my sister's mother in law picked her up then passed her on to me. She didn't recognize her when she came out to visit this fall- she's grown at least 4" taller and filled out. I use her to remind people to give fugly looking little rescues a chance- she's the first horse I even started, and the smartest animal I've ever trained-period.

Oh...I just realized, I have a CL horse, well, pony!! My Jackie was on CL and I called on him. Being that's it's only 48 hours I've owned him, I'll have to wait for some good stories to happen, well, other than the pen one.
BTW, a little bit ago, I went out to scoop out his pen and play with him. He's relaxed and came right up to me. Probably plotting as another poster said on the other post. But this time, I didn't have a lead on him and where I went, he was right there. I think I dun good buying the little f*rt.
Yep. Picked up a Werbellin daughter off CL. The seller didn't know what she was, had missed the faded Oldenburg brand and was a HJ. How NOBODY ELSE grabbed this horse, I don't know. Her gaits are to DIE for. Even people who don't know her breed know she's a high end horse.
She is pictured at the top of my blog in my sig.
