I have a small arena with screenings as footing. it is great as long as it is wet but when dry can we say DUSTY???? The arena is only used by myself and one other rider 4 days/ week. I just do not have time to deal with watering every time we want to ride.

I was considering sodding the entire thing with some sort of super sturdy grass like crab grass. This way it wouldn't get muddy as the base is screenings, would be ton less dusty in the summer, already graded/ level, drains well, prettier for my small farm and shouldn't get too worn as so few riders.

What do you think? Would it work?
